Hamid Daya

Hamid Daya is a Consultant ENT Surgeon with a specialist interest in Paediatric ENT practicing in the NHS at St. George’s Hospital, London.                                   

He has been in practice since 2000 and developed the concept of delivering Paediatric ENT care under the framework “ent4kids” which was formally incorporated in 2007 under his directorship.

Specialist training

Hamid Daya qualified from the Universities of St. Andrews and Manchester receiving his medical degree in 1988. He became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 1993 and then received postgraduate Otolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery training at the following institutions:

Adult ENT

In addition to his subspecialty interest in Paediatric ENT, Hamid Daya also offers both specialist (ear, voice and sinus disease) and general ENT care for adult patients. 

Voluntary work

In addition to his professional career as an ENT Surgeon, Hamid Daya has a particular interest in the promotion of ENT care in the developing world and has travelled to many different countries including Ghana, Tanzania and Cambodia on research and surgical trips. 

He is on the Board of Directors for “Sound Seekers”, a charity that supports the needs of deaf children in the developing countries.
